I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Shimon Peres, former President of Israel, outstanding statesman, public and political figure, Nobel Prize laureate.
On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deep condolences to you, the family and relatives of the late Shimon Peres, and the whole people of Israel.
