В Азербайджане принят закон об экозащите Каспия
На пленарном заседании Милли Меджлиса (парламента) Азербайджана во вторник был принят закон, ратифицирующий Протокол "Об охране Каспийского моря от загрязнения из наземных источников и в результате осуществляемой на суше деятельности" Рамочной конвенции "Об охране морской среды Каспийского моря".
По словам вице-спикера парламента Валеха Алескерова, согласно протоколу, для защиты от загрязнения морской среды Каспия и прибрежных территорий стороны, присоединившиеся к Конвенции, проводят все необходимые мероприятия в соответствии с положениями этого документа.
Согласно документу, стороны будут вести обмен информацией, проводить совместные мероприятия для мониторинга окружающей среды.
